bea parlade is a filipino-american illustrator and designer based in baltimore, md. specializing in illustration, visual development, and product design, they’re largely inspired by their childhood and culture to create fantastical illustrations using a variety of media, ranging from digital painting to more traditional mediums such as watercolor, gouache, and ink.

they also create and sell products and merchandise under the name b.p. studios, which specializes in all things cozy and whimsical– they’ve designed postcards, tote bags, stickers, keychains, and have much more in the works! previous markets they’ve exhibited at include greater goods market, ottobar’s punk rock flea market, mica’s holiday art market, and the station north holiday market.

in their free time, they like to eat spicy foods, crochet cute items, and play rhythm games.
